Hot Birds is a spicy creation from Amin and Ashraf, two childhood friends who are now bringing hot chicken right here to Knoxville, TN. It’s new, its spicy, and we think you’ll love it.
We’re starting out small, with the perfect hot chicken sandwich and a side of fries. We can’t wait for you to try it!
Who came up with this?
Amin and Ashraf have never been afraid of a little heat! Growing up in New York, they developed an appetite for flavor that couldn’t be satisfied. So they headed down south on a whim, trading concrete for rolling hills, in search of adventure and the perfect bite.
After a quest for the perfect blend of spices and the ultimate juicy, crispy bird, Hot Birds was born. At their sizzling hot chicken joint, Amin and Ashraf are serving up their Nashville-inspired Hot Birds recipe that’s sure to satisfy any big city appetite. The bold and the brave are welcome!

Amin and Ashraf are two lifelong childhood friends with diverse experiences from professional cooking experiences to catering to servicing high-end restaurants. The two founders initially set out on a journey to pursue religious studies at Tayseer Seminary in Knoxville for a short year, but ended staying due to the overwhelming kindness and warmth they felt from the Knoxville community. Amin and Ashraf have always been passionate about food and now they teamed up to create the best chicken in the world. After testing and perfecting their recipe, they are ready to share it with the world through Hot Birds. Every event has been sold out so far and they continue to invest heavily into consistently making the tastiest, juiciest Hot chicken you can find!

Hot Birds is Amin and Ashraf’s creation, bringing hot chicken to Knoxville. It’s new, experimental, and they think you’ll love it. They are starting out small with the perfect hot chicken sandwich and fries.
Hot Birds is blessed to be a member of REAL GOOD KITCHEN on 2004 E Magnolia Avenue in East Knoxville. The Shared commercial kitchen has helped over 90 businesses launch since they began their operations. We hope to making a lasting change through food as part of the RGK Community.

To ensure the freshest and hottest experience, Hot Birds is pick-up only. All sandwiches are cooked to order which is why advanced notice for pickups is required. We believe this delivery method results in the perfect hot chicken sandwich every time without sacrificing quality or flavor due to waiting time. Pick-up is part of the overall Hot Birds experience!
